Longtime Wakefield resident was member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish

Falite-obit-webWAKEFIELD — Jean R. Falite, 88, of a longtime resident of Wakefield died on Tuesday, July 19 at the Lahey Hospital Medical Center in Burlington.
Born in Everett on April 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Dunn) Jamieson.
Jean was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1946. She had been a Wakefield resident for over 60 years. Jean was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Wakefield. For most of her adult life she was a homemaker and did secretary work for the Malden Boy Scouts. She later worked for her sons at Falite Bros. in Wakefield.
She was the beloved wife of Salvatore F. Falite. She was the loving mother of Robert “Bobby” Falite and partner Steve Robitaille of Stoneham, Ronald J. Falite and his wife Diane of Lynnfield, Raymond S. Falite and fiancée Rachel Veron of Middleton, Ann L. Healey and her husband Brian of Wakefield and Jean T. Taylor and her husband Mark of Lynnfield. Jean was the sister of Dorothy Falite and her late husband Charles S. Falite of Wakefield, Marcia Killion and her husband James of Florida and the late Sonny Jamieson. Jean is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 o’clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
