WAKEFIELD — John P. Previte, 71, of Wakefield, formerly of Winthrop passed away March 3, 2016 at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He was born in Winthrop on Feb. 7, 1945 and was the son of the late Matthew and Frances (Lagana) Previte.
John was a graduate of Winthrop High School, Class of 1963. He later graduated from Bentley College. He worked and retired as a property manager for PMS Realty. He was a Wakefield resident for 40 years. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball for 20 years and soccer for 40 years in Wakefield for over 20 years. He also enjoyed gardening, golfing and was a car enthusiast with many antique cars over the years.
John was the husband of Patricia A. (Rouillard) of Manahawkin, N.J. He was the loving father of Angelique Mullarkey and husband Jim of Scituate. He was the brother of Grace Magoon and husband Warren of Wakefield. He is also survived by his grandson John Mullarkey and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield Wednesday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home from Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
