LYNNFIELD — A joint public forum hosted by the Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC), the Master Plan Steering Committee and the Lynnfield Public Library will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Al Merritt Media and Cultural Center, 600 Market St.

 At this meeting, the Master Plan Committee will present the results of the recent Lynnfield Community Survey. Additionally, CFAC will present a needs assessments on the town’s capital facilities and suggested requirements for the next 20 years. Lastly, the Library Building Committee will present an overall information presentation on the newly proposed library.

“These committees have been hard at work putting together recommendations for Lynnfield’s future and for you to make informed decisions on these proposals. We are looking for constructive feedback and input from the public,” commented CFAC Chairman Ted Caswell in a statement announcing the meeting.

A second public forum has been scheduled for Thursday, June 8 at the Al Merritt Center. More information will be available on the content and format of this meeting closer to the date Caswell stated.
