MELROSE — Lawrence Michael Ricker, age 80 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 30 in Melrose.
Larry was born on October 21, 1944 to parents Lena and Bernard Ricker. Larry graduated from Melrose High School and attended Northeastern University and University of Massachusetts Amherst. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
His family and friends will always remember him as a very kind deep thinker with an avid curiosity for life and nature.
Larry is survived by his wife Suzanne of Melrose; his two loving daughters Dawn and her husband Fred Brizee and Cherie and her husband Chris Simmons; and his two loved grandchildren Cassandra and Zachary and his youngest sibling Mark Ricker.
The family would like to thank the Bedford VA Hospital and the West Roxbury VA hospital for their support.
The funeral services will be held privately.
