WAKEFIELD — It’s that time of year, according to Town Clerk Betsy Sheeran, for dog owners to register their dogs with the Town.
The period for registering dogs is from Monday, April 3, to Wednesday, May 31.
Massachusetts General Law mandates that all dogs, six months or older, must be registered. Rabies certificates must be up-to-date.
Please contact the office of the Town Clerk with any questions.
If a dog is not registered with the Town within the specified time period, a fine will be levied.
