36 athletes from Wakefield entered for 120th running

WAKEFIELD — The town of Wakefield will be well-represented in the 120th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18 with an increase in numbers in the race from a year ago.
Thirty-six runners are officially entered from Wakefield which is 10 more than last year. They all received BIB numbers.
There are of total 19 female and 17 male entrants in the race.
Shawn Conway, 45, was the top male finisher from Wakefield a year ago and ran a time of 3:10:85. He is entered once again.
The top female finisher among the returning runners is Krissy Nowell, 38, who ran a time of 4:18:05 a year ago. She is running the 26.2 mile race once again.
The rest of the male Wakefield runners that are officially entered, competed in the event a year ago, and were awarded times included Gavin Macbeath (3:23:58), Patrick Glynn (3:36:15), Michael Mondello (3:38:56), Charles Curran III (4:50:58), Richard Collette Jr. (5:23:33) and Michael Hartin (5:53:31). Their ages are 46, 53, 44, 29, 65 and 54, respectively.
The rest of the female runners that are officially entered, competed in the event a year ago, and were awarded times last year included Jennifer DeSimone (4:25:19) and Maria Disisto (4:58:26). Their ages are 47 and 33.
