DUDLEY — The Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Championship was held on Saturday, April 9 at Nichols College in Dudley.

This competition included boys and girls, ages 9 through 14, who had already won at the Local, District and Regional contests in order to reach the State finals.

The other Wakefield state champs include: 13-year-old Lisa DeGuglielmo in 2005, 14-year-old Derek Dettorre in 2003, and 12-year-old Kevin Chansky in 2002.
