LYNNFIELD — Family and friends will gather to honor the late Erik Neenan during the third annual Erik Neenan Golf Tournament on Monday, Aug. 14 at the Gannon Municipal Golf Course in his beloved hometown of Lynn.

The tournament’s check-in will take place from 8-9 a.m., and the tournament will begin at 9:30 a.m. All of the golf tournament’s proceeds will directly benefit Erik and Katie’s three amazing children: Emma, Jack and Devon.

Emma recently finished her freshman year at Syracuse University, and is heading into her sophomore year. She studies pre-law. Jack is heading into his senior year at Lynnfield High School, where he was recently named assistant captain of the LHS boys’ hockey team. Devon will be entering LHS as a freshman in the fall, and has been enjoying LHS football workouts this summer.

The Neenan Children’s Education Fund will support these incredible kids and their future educational needs.

Neenan’s longtime friends and family started the golf tournament. Neenan’s sister, Amy, as well as lifelong friends
Beth Clark, Jim and Jen Fallon, Rick Geaney, James Nerich, and John Benson created the fund for the children shortly after Neenan tragically passed away. This upcoming year will be the third annual memorial golf tournament.

Golf registration includes 18 holes with cart, golf pullover, gift bag and a post round buffet with a cash bar. Residents must register by Wednesday, July 26 to be guaranteed a pullover.
