LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield High School will send the Class of 2024 off in style during commencement exercises held at Pioneer Stadium on Friday, May 31, beginning at 5 p.m.

If it rains on Friday, the high school’s 65th commencement ceremony will be moved inside the gymnasium. The Class of 2024 is hoping for beautiful weather on Friday.

Lynnfield High School’s graduation will be Principal Tricia Puglisi’s first ceremony. She succeeded retired LHS Principal Bob Cleary this year.

Similar to previous ceremonies, the 65th Lynnfield High commencement ceremony will begin with the traditional processional of students. The Chamber Singers will be performing “The National Anthem” under the direction of Choral Director Doug Hodgkins.

Student Council President Keely Briggs will be giving the Welcome Address. Puglisi will also be providing opening remarks.

Senior Russell Kasdon will be giving the Valedictory Address during commencement exercises. Senior Class President Max Halsey and Interim Superintendent Tom Geary will be certifying the Class of 2024 during the ceremony.

Geary and School Committee Chair Kate DePrizio will be presenting diplomas to the Class of 2024.
