BRIDGEWATER — The Lynnfield High boys’ track and field team took 8th overall with 29 points at the Div. 5 State Championship Meet held at Bridgewater State on Friday and Sunday.

Eli Mendese had multiple strong performances in the field events for Lynnfield. He took 2nd in the high jump, clearing 6’02”. He also got 10th in the long jump (20’0) and 12th in the triple jump (40’0).

Zahir Mitchell took 4th in the long jump with a 21’03”. He also took 7th in the 100 meters in 11.46 and helped the 4×100 relay team finish 4th with a 44.25 along with Joey Cucciniello, Jesse Dorman and Dillon Reilly.

In the triple jump, Nick Kelter was 4th in 43’04” and Cucciniello was 9th in 41’04”. Cuciniello also took 18th in the long jump with an 18’10”.

Ryan DeBenedictis was 5th in the pole vault at 10’06”. Matthew Squadrito was 11th at 9’06”.

Quinn Hardisty took 16th in the javelin with a throw of 134’03”.

Jared Bernebei was 20th in the discus with a 118’02”.

In the 2 mile, Srivanth Tudi finished 22nd overall with a time of 10:52.

Davius Chan took 28th in the 400 hurdles in 1:05.
