Melrose High School graduate enjoyed helping others

MELROSE — Marissa F. Eppoliti, 69, of Melrose, died at the Wilmington Healthcare on Nov. 27.

Marissa was born in Danbury, Conn., raised in Melrose and Malden and was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1962, who went on to attend Lowell University.

She was always very generous to many charities and loved cats and dogs. Marissa resided most of her life in Melrose and enjoyed helping others.

She was the loving daughter of the late Raymond and Vittoria (Gallo) Eppoliti. She was the caring sister of Michael V. Eppoliti and his wife Marilyn of Melrose and Lisa V. Picard and her husband Michael of York, Maine. She was the aunt of Greg, Jennifer, Jason, Jonathan and the late Joshua. She was the great aunt of Killian, Baylee, Samuel, Savannah, Elizabeth and Joshua.

The funeral was from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose, on Monday, Dec. 1, at 8 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, Herbert Street, Melrose at 9 a.m.

Burial in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
