MELROSE — The City of Melrose is sharing the following updates for the upcoming week:

Make sure your voter registration status is up to date

Melrose residents who received a yellow postcard from the Board of Registrars of Voters are encouraged to return the prepaid tear-off postcard as soon as possible. Doing so will confirm that the resident is an active voter and make it as easy as possible to vote in the September and November elections. If your voter status is already “Active,” you will not receive a yellow postcard. Anyone wishing to confirm their voter status should visit www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/.

The fall elections are coming soon! Save the date now for the September 3 primary election and the November 5 general election.

Mayor Grigoraitis will hold office hours August 20

Mayor Jen Grigoraitis will hold Virtual Office Hours for Melrose residents on the evening of August 20. This is a great opportunity for Melrose residents who want to share their ideas, feedback and requests in a personal conversation with the mayor.

Email mayorsoffice@cityofmelrose.org for registration details. Additional opportunities to meet with Mayor Grigoraitis at office hours will be scheduled soon.
