HOLLIS, N.H. — Noreen Anna (Maguire) Morley, 90, passed away at her home in New Hampshire on January 25, 2020.

Noreen was born in Boston on June 12, 1929 to the late John J. and Alice L. (Stock) Maguire. She was raised in East Boston, graduated from East Boston High School, Class of 1946 and received her associates degree in Spanish from Bunker Hill Community College.

Mrs. Morley lived in Melrose for over 30 years and the past 10 years in Hollis, N.H. Noreen started working at the New England Telephone Company as an operator and ended her 30 year career as a supervisor. Mrs. Morley was a former member of Incarnation Church in Melrose where she was a CCD teacher for 10 years.

She enjoyed wintering in Sarasota, Fla., golfing, was on a bowling team and liked to play Petanque in Florida. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Noreen was the beloved wife of 41 years to the late John P. Morley. Loving mother of John M. Morley and his wife Lycia of Berlin, N.H., Theresa A. Capodilupo and her husband Vincent of Hollis, N.H. and Michael J. Morley of Peabody. Cherished grandmother of Alexis Slabinski, Anthony Capodilupo, Bianca Cothen, John Capodilupo, Meagan Parker, Michael Morley, Kate Morley and Kelsea Morley. Cherished great-grandmother of Adeline, Logan, William, Nora, Mable, Alexis, Mikaela and William. Longtime companion of Bob Axworthy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thursday, January 30. Funeral procession from Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose was on Friday, January 31, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation Church, 425 Upham St. Melrose. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
