Enjoyed summers at the NH cottage fishing and swimming

MELROSE — Michael Schlesinger, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on September 3 at 58 years of age.

Michael was born and raised in Melrose and attended the Melrose school system; the superintendent Dr. Richard Incerto kept a photo of Mike on his desk. He worked at Project Triangle in Malden for many years.

Things that brought the most joy to Mike were summers at our cottage in Northwood NH where he’d spend hours splitting wood and swimming, the annual fishing trip with his brothers to Spednik Lake in northern Maine and many visits to spend time with friends at the Melrose Fish & Game Club where he was a member.

Mike is survived by his mother Anita; his brother John, James and Kenneth; sister Diane Indorato and her husband Steve; brother Paul and his wife Laurie; brother Ronald and his wife Paula; along with dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service were held at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St., Melrose on Monday, September 9 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations were made to Project Triangle in Malden. To sign online condolence, visit gatelyfh.com.
