Mindy-Nesbitt-webNORTH READING — Mindy Lee Nesbitt of Rochester, N.H. and formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends on the morning of Saturday, July 11, after a long illness and courageous battle, Mindy was 34 years old.

Mindy is survived by her beloved daughter, Kiley Racic of Dover, N.H. She is also survived by her parents, Ms. Donna Wood of Dover, N.H., formerly of Wakefield; and Mr. Ralph Nesbitt and his wife Karen of North Reading; Mr. John Weaver of North Reading; her brother, David Nesbitt of Haverhill; her sister, Katelynn Weaver of North Reading and her grandfather, Merle Weaver of North Reading.

Mindy is preceded in death by her grandparents; Victor and Annette Wood of Wakefield and Mrs. Helen Weaver of North Reading.

Mindy was born on Dec. 2, 1980 in Melrose. Mindy was raised in North Reading, where she attended North Reading Public Schools through the eighth grade. Mindy studied cosmetology at The Northeast Metropolitan Regional Technical Vocational High School in Wakefield and was a graduate of the Class of 1999. Shortly after graduation, Mindy achieved her goal of becoming a licensed cosmetologist. She happily pursued a successful career for many years. Mindy was passionate about her work and was most happy tending to people, bringing out their inner beauty and making them feel good about themselves.

Over time, Mindy relocated to New Hampshire. Soon after, her daughter Kiley Joy Racic, was born. Kiley was the light of Mindy’s life. Mindy was a dedicated, loving mother who shared an incredible bond with her daughter. Mindy excelled as a parent, striving to teach Kiley all she needed to know to navigate the world successfully with a caring, compassionate heart.

Mindy will be remembered by all for her kindness and generosity, infectious laugh and insatiable humor.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 23 from 5-8 p.m. at The Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mindy’s life.

Additionally, a celebration of Mindy’s life will be held Sunday, July 26 at 12:30 p.m. at the home of Kiley’s grandparents, Mark and Cindy Racic, 5 Riverview Rd., Durham, N.H. Please join them to share your thoughts and memories of Mindy with the family and her beautiful daughter Kiley.
