Nancy-Doucette-webWAKEFIELD — Nancy J. ( Terhune) Doucette, 83, of Wakefield, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Wingate at Reading. She was the beloved wife of the late John Doucette Jr.

Born in Plainfield, NJ on Sept.r 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carol (Greenlaw) Terhune.

Nancy was a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Hygenists. Nancy owned and operated the Cubby Hole Stationers, Inc. in Wakefield with her late husband John Doucette, until they retired.

Nancy was dedicated to her family and was a devoted grandmother. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Wakefield, where she was a member of the Junction Circle.

Family members include her loving son, Jack Doucette and his wife Louise of Saugus; her daughter, Pamela Babcock and her husband Tom and her granddaughter Laura Babcock, all of North Reading.

Her funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church, 8 Lafayette St., Wakefield on Monday, April 27. Calling hours were held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading.  Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Wakefield, 8 Lafayette St., Wakefield MA 01880.
