NORTH READING— The Friends of the North Reading Council on Aging will meet on Monday, June 24, at the Edith O’Leary Senior Center at 7 p.m. The informational meeting will include the annual election of officers and ice cream sundaes will be served.
Although the group’s open meetings are usually held on the second Monday, every other month, they moved the meeting to June 24 to accommodate those who wanted to attend the important Town Meeting on Monday, June 10. All are welcome to come and see what the Friends are all about, what they have accomplished to the help out the Senior Center and enjoy friendship and ice cream.
