METHUEN — The North Reading Diamond Club-sponsored Verdonck Scholarship Bocce Tourney, held at the Methuen Sons of Italy indoor bocce facility, was recently conducted for the purpose of raising funds for the Todd Verdonck Scholarship Fund, NRHS Class of 1992.
The competitive spirit was still evident in many former North Reading High School baseball alumni during this eight-team double elimination seeded tournament, but the 2024 Champions — Todd Santora, Mark Meaney, Dave Doherty and Chuck Cimalore — never were challenged during the fun-filled afternoon!
