NORTH READING — The next COVID-19 vaccination clinic arranged by the North Reading Health Department will be open to children ages 3 years old and up, as well as adults, on Monday, July 11 from 5-6 p.m. in the gymnasium at North Reading Town Hall, 235 North St.
It is being hosted by VaxinateRx and Healthcare Family Pharmacy. Additional clinic time may be added based on demand. Access the registration link below to view appointment availability.
Both Pfizer and Moderna emergency use authorizations (EUA) vaccines will be offered. The Pfizer vaccine is available for ages 3 and up. The Moderna vaccine is available for ages 18 and up.
The following vaccine series will be available based on the most recent FDA/CDC emergency use authorizations (EUA):
- Primary vaccine series for anyone ages 3 and up. (Please note that this vaccine clinic does take place in a large, open room. If your child has severe vaccine anxiety, it may be best to schedule it with his or her pediatrician directly.)
- First booster dose at least five months after finishing primary vaccine series for ages 5 and up
- Second booster dose for individuals 50 years of age and older at least four months after receipt of a first booster dose of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine.
- Second booster dose for individuals 12 years of age and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised at least four months after receipt of a first booster dose of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine.

- Please bring your insurance cards (medical and prescription) and COVID-19 vaccination cards to the clinic. COVID vaccines are free for all regardless of insurance coverage. For those covered by Medicare please bring your red, white and blue Medicare card along with any other insurance cards.
