America’s 248th birthday celebration falls on Thursday, July 4, our publication date, therefore, the Transcript will have early deadlines for both editorial and advertising content for next week’s edition.
All press releases, photographs, stories and letters to the editor must be emailed to the Transcript by 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28. The only exception to this deadline will be for the submission of obituaries, which must arrive by noon on Monday, July 1. Editorial content should be emailed to the Transcript’s news department at northreadingnews@wakefielditem.com.
The deadline to submit legal advertising requests is Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. Put “legal advertising, attention Diane” in the subject line and email to: ads@wakefielditem.com.
The deadline to submit display advertising requests is Friday, June 28 at 2 p.m. Advertising Director Chris Ellison can be reached by calling 781-245-0080 or via email at ads@wakefielditem.com.
Since the Post Office does not deliver mail on federal holidays, the Transcript is scheduled to arrive to our in-town subscribers’ mailboxes on Friday, July 5.
