NORTH READING – The Union Congregational Church partnered with the North Reading Food Pantry for their annual “Christmas-in-a-Box” program, bringing holiday cheer to families facing economic challenges this season.

Volunteers decorated festive boxes and filled them with carefully selected items including wrapping paper, hot chocolate mix, and other essential holiday supplies, aiming to alleviate some of the stress and financial burden many families experience during the holidays. The initiative not only provides practical support but also delivers a message of hope and compassion, ensuring that families in need can experience the joy and warmth of the Christmas season despite their current circumstances.
