The Daily Item is pleased to announce that we will publish not only your travel photos this summer, we will write your story, too. Our new summer series titled “On the Go” will kick off on the first day of summer — Wednesday, June 21 — and continue through Labor Day weekend.
Send us your contact information, including e-mail addresses, and our news staff will write a travel feature for you. We’ll want to know all about you, where you went, who you went with, how you got there, where and how long you stayed, what you did while at your destination and any amusing anecdotes. We’ll also ask why you chose your destination and where you hope to go next. We’ll also ask for your tips for foolproof travel.
Photographs are also good at telling stories, too. As we do every summer, the Daily Item will publish your favorite vacation pictures, with or without an accompanying story.
