WAKEFIELD — On Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center, the Wakefield Unified Prevention Coalition (WAKE UP) and the Wakefield Police/Elliot Community Human Services CIT program will be hosting an important event.
The event will feature a panel with local and regional experts (including persons with lived experience) and will provide information on the following:
• Understanding Addiction
• Treatment Options
• Post-acute care Support Services (i.e. residential programs)
• Recovery & Maintenance
• Harm Reduction (Narcan training & distribution)
• Family Support
