Korean War veteran worked for Commonwealth

Lomuscio-obit-webSTONEHAM — Pasquale V. “Pat” Lomuscio, 84, of Stoneham, formerly of Boston, passed away peacefully on Oct. 9 at his home.

Mr. Lomuscio was born on Nov. 16, 1931 to the late Giuseppe and Donatella (DeMarco) Lomuscio. Pat served honorably in the United States Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War.

Pat was a barber for many years before having a successful career as an employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

He enjoyed the company of family and friends.

Mr. Lomuscio is survived by his niece Dorothy Iudice and her husband Michael of Melrose; nephews Joseph Lomuscio and his wife Ulda of Revere and Anthony Lomuscio and his fiancée Laurie Neveu of Manchester, N.H. He is also survived by many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Andrew F. Lomuscio and his wife Rose of Revere and his sister the late Pauline Lomuscio of East Boston.

Visiting hours were held on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose. A Mass of Christian Burial followed the visitation at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield.

Interment at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
