Phyllis-Bucciero-obit-11-4-16-webMELROSE — Phyllis M. (Ancillo) Bucciero passed away at her home in Melrose on Oct. 26, on her 89th birthday.

Phyllis was born in Winchester on Oct. 26, 1927, was raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School and lived in Revere most of her life before moving to Melrose in 2010. Mrs. Bucciero worked in the personnel department for the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) for over 15 years. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church in Revere and a current member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield. Phyllis loved to cook and bake and enjoyed spending time with her late husband Michael in Boca Raton, Fla.

Mrs. Bucciero was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Bucciero. She was the loving mother of Michael A. Bucciero Jr. of Washington, D.C. and Patricia B. Perrotta and her late husband Paul of Melrose. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew Bucciero and his wife Stephanie; Caroline Bucciero, all of California; and Nicholas Perrotta of Melrose. She was the proud great-grandmother of Jack and Charlie Bucciero.

Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose, on Sunday, Oct. 30. Funeral from Gately Funeral Home on Monday Oct. 31, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield.
