MELROSE — On Sunday, June 12, the Highlands Church will celebrate the music ministry of Harold Prenatt, its director of music and organist who is retiring after 24 years at the church.
This special Music Sunday, which will include selections from Bach, Fauré and Mendelssohn, as well as performances by guest artists, will celebrate Prenatt’s musical gifts, his friendship and his devotion to the Highlands Church.
The people of the church are more than grateful to him and the program’s organizers hope residents will join Highlands Church at 10 a.m. to honor a man of music who taught us all the glory that is involved in “making a joyful noise unto the Lord.”
