LYNNFIELD — The Board of Selectmen announced its summer meeting schedule last week. The board meets once per month in July and August.
The board will meet next Monday, July 10 beginning at 6 p.m., an hour earlier than usual.
“The July 10 meeting is going to be important for us because we are going to discuss the budget process and how we can improve it,” said Selectmen Chairman Chris Barrett. “We are going to discuss some items regarding Town Meeting. (Town Moderator) Arthur Bourque is looking to put together a study group to look at ways we can improve Town Meeting.”
The selectmen’s Monday, August 14 meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at the Al Merritt Center, 600 Market St.
