MELROSE — During this season of giving thanks, the Friends of the Melrose Public Library is sponsoring a “Give Thanks, Give a Dollar: Love Your Library!” FUNdraiser. For $1 (additional donations are welcome), you can purchase a leaf for one of several “Give Thanks” wreaths hanging in the library and write what you love about the Melrose Public Libraray and/or the wonderful staff. Purchased leaves will be added to one of the wreaths so your gratitude can be shared with all library staff and patrons.

The campaign kicks off at the Sally Frank’s Farmers Market on Oct. 22. Additional opportunities to contribute are available at pop-up booths all over Melrose — including at the library — between Oct. 22 and Dec. 5. Check the Friends’ Facebook page — https://www.facebook.com/FriendsoftheMelrosePublicLibrary — for specific times and places for the pop-up booths.
