WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield Memorial High girls’ swim team will be holding a comedy night fundraiser at the Wakefield Knights of Columbus on Friday, Nov. 6. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. starring Jim Colliton.
Tickets are $20 and the funds raised will benefit the WMHS varsity swim team. There is also a cash bar.
The swim team will also have raffles for those who want to participate. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be put toward a record board in the Charbonneau Field House for the swimmers, past and present, who have obtained town, league and state records.
There are quite a few WMHS alumnae whose records still stand and have been reached out to regarding this fundraiser as well.
