MELROSE – The Melrose Chamber of Commerce and the City of Melrose invite you to attend the 37th Annual Victorian Fair on Sunday, September 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Melrose.
The fair offers something for everyone!
With close to 200 booths filled with food, games and fun, rides, local entertainment, and local art, the Victorian Fair is a long anticipated event in Melrose. This annual community celebration will once again feature shopping at Artisans’ Marketplace (now indoors at the VFW located at 428 Main Street); local entertainment at Center Stage; sampling and eating food from around the region and world; and various carnival amusements.
Between Upham/Essex and Grove Streets, you can walk along Main Street and visit with your favorite businesses, vendors, community organizations and elected officials! Many booths will offer samples, specials, giveaways, raffles and other activities.
A particular exciting feature of the Fair is the Big Ticket raffle.
For just $10 per ticket, you can take a chance to win one of 13 incredible prizes donated by Melrose chamber member businesses. Some of the prizes include a beautiful rug donated by Melrose Oriental Rug, an Apple iWatch donated by Rockland Trust, a gorgeous pink tourmaline and diamond ring donated by Perella Jewelers and a basket of gift certificates to local restaurants. Don’t miss your chance to win one of these amazing prizes and more! Buy your tickets before the Fair in Melrose at Miter Biter, 479 Main Street or Eastern Bank, 441 Main Street; or contact the Chamber office at 781-665-3033. The day of the Fair, pending tickets are still available, stop by the Chamber of Commerce booth at the corner of West Foster and Main Street (cash only). Raffle drawing is at the conclusion of Center Stage on Fair Day. You do not need to be present to win.
The Victorian Fair is an active day!
Begin the day by running the EMARC 5K sponsored by Marathon Sports in support of people with developmental disabilities. The race begins at 10:00am near the Melrose Family YMCA and you can register to run by visiting theemarc.org. We also encourage you to walk or ride your bike to the Victorian Fair. Thanks to the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee and Mass in Motion, bike valet services will once again be available on West Foster Street.
