LYNNFIELD — Townscape Lynnfield is looking for volunteers for its Bring Your Own Rake event on Sunday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jordan Park.
Volunteers will be working to cut back the brush area immediately surrounding the soccer fields, removing brush and branches, and removing trash from the general area.
Volunteers can RSVP to the event and select their shifts by going to Townscape Lynnfield’s website: www.townscapelynnfield.org, and finding the “Bring Your Own Rake” event on the “Events” menu. They will be directed to a sign-up genius site where they can select their preferred time slot.
Townscape needs volunteers to bring rakes, tarps, shovels, gas-powered weed whackers and other equipment they might use to clean up their own yards. Refer questions to Townscape at 617-680-2728 or via email at: townscape.communications@gmail.com.
