WAKEFIELD — Thomas G. Coffin, 76 of Wakefield died Friday, October 25 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Panama, February 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Caroline (Geddes ) Coffin. Thomas was a graduate of Christobal High School in Panama and Canal Zone College.
Thomas was the beloved husband of Barbara Malek. He was the brother of Lynn Cunningham and Gerald Coffin both of NY; Marjorie Coffin and Nannette Halliwell both of PA; Marcia Wheatley of FL; Kathy Reca of VA; and the late Joseph and Jon Coffin.
His funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday, October 30 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in the name of Thomas Coffin to Colonial Chorus Players of Reading, PO Box 443, Reading, MA 01867.
