Worked in the beauty care industry

WAKEFIELD — Kenneth F. Charest, 76, of Wakefield died December 7 in Stoneham after a long period of failing health. Born in Winchester on December 1, 1945; the son of the late Roland and Mildred (Porter) Charest.

Ken was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1965. He had worked in the beauty care industry for many years in the Salem and Marblehead area. He had also worked for the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers.

He is survived by his brother Ronald Charest and his wife, Carol, of Reading. He was the uncle of Danielle, Kirk, Doug and Alexa and great uncle to Reese, Hadley, Nolan, AveryAnne and Audianna. Several cousins also survive.

His funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Monday, December 13 at 12 noon. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
