WAKEFIELD — Louis F. Rindone, 84, of Wakefield and Lakeland, Florida, passed away following a long-term illness on October, 22, 2018, in Lakeland, Florida.
Lou was born on October 5, 1934, in Wakefield to Louis F. Rindone and Ruth Meade Rindone. Lou graduated from Wakefield High School in 1952 and was a D.C. 35 Union wall-covering contractor and a member of Painters Local 258 and 577. Lou loved gardening, chess, and telling corny jokes.
Lou is survived by his former wife, Carole A. Rindone of Reading and his sisters, Bettie Hollett of Pa., Patricia Johnston of Maine, Joie Gerrish and Carole Rindone of Wakefield, and his brother, Michael Rindone of Reading. He also is survived by his children, Joie Edson and her husband James Kiley of Wakefield, Karen Hunnefeld and her husband Paul of Reading, Linda Drugan and her husband Greg of Derry, N.H., and David Rindone and his wife Lisa of Stoneham; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lou is predeceased by son-in-law Thomas Edson of Wakefield and grandson Gregory Drugan of Derry, N.H.
