SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Mary C. Muse, 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Vermont. She was born September 9, 1932 in Wakefield, Mass. the daughter of Richard and Catherine (Lefave) Malonson. She attended schools and graduated high school in the Gardner, Mass. area.
On February 4, 1956 she married Clifford J. Muse in Gardner. They moved to Springfield, Vt. in 1956 and resided in Springfield until 1981 when they relocated to Rock Hill, S.C. where they lived until 2017 when they moved back to Springfield.
Mary enjoyed crafting, sewing, knitting, crocheting and also worked as a professional seamstress for a number of years.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Muse and wife Inessa of Saxtons River, Vt. and William Muse and wife Donna of Bluffton, S.C.; three daughters, Sandra Neronsky and husband John of Chester, Deborah Muse of Springfield, and Mary Patria and husband Dan of Charlestown, N.H.; seven grandchildren, John, Raymond, Matthew, Evan, Jacob, Jessica, and Sam; three great-grandchildren, Jayce, James and Eva; and one brother Richard Malonson, of Gardner.
She was predeceased by her parents, sister Barbara Morgan and one grandson Steve.
Friends may call at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt. on Wednesday, October 31 from 1 to 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Davis Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Reverend Peter Williams will officiate.
