WAKEFIELD The annual Kelly Ledoux-Walsh Memorial 5K returns to Lake Quannapowitt this Sunday.

The 5K, which honors Ledoux-Walsh, a Wakefield High graduate and Merrimack College student athlete, is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. There will be a 1 mile race for kids that starts at 10 a.m.

Online registration is $30 for the 5K and $10 for the kids race.

Day of registration is $35 for adults and $10 for kids. Family registration is capped at $60. To register day of, visit the staging area on the Lower Common which will be open at 9 a.m.

Awards for the kids race include medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for girls and boys.

The 1st place male and female finishers of the 5K Lake race will each receive $100.

Proceeds will go to the Wakefield Cross Country and Track and Field boosters.
