WAKEFIELD — The DPW will collect leaves and yardwaste from the curb in front of Wakefield homes Saturday, May 16, beginning at 7 a.m.
All containers must be at the curb by 7 a.m. All leaves and grass must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or barrels and all branches must be tied in bundles no larger than three feet by 18 inches. The bundles must be tied securely at both ends.
No plastic bags will be accepted.
Any branches larger than three feet in length and 18 inches in diameter will not be picked up.
