MELROSE — Organizers of the Melrose Veterans Memory Project will be hosting a dinner on Sunday, March 22, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Sgt. Harold O. Young VFW Post on Chipman Avenue.

Tickets are $20 and include dinner, entertainment from members of the MHS Honors Chorus, presentations by MHS students who are part of MVMP and also presentations by representatives from Dogs on Deployment and NEADS Canines for Combat Veterans Program.

There will be raffles, tables with information about the Melrose Veterans Memory Project and the work they have been doing and an opportunity to create spring/Easter cards for veterans at the VA Hospital and Chelsea Soldiers Home.

If you are interested, you can purchase tickets directly from Lisa Lord (room 229) or from one of the students. Tickets are also available at the Veteran Services Office at City Hall and both VFW posts in Melrose (Chipman Avenue and Main Street).

Tickets can also be reserved through their Facebook page or via e-mail or may be purchased at the door (until they reach capacity).
