MELROSE — Barbara Lynn (Becker) Rocher, of Melrose, 89, died on December 20 after a brief illness. Wife of the late Alain Rocher.
Born in El Paso, TX, Barbara grew up in Yakima, WA and spent several years teaching in Germany and France before moving to MA. She taught at the Horace Mann Elementary School in Melrose from 1966 until her retirement in 1995.
Mother of Jean-Marc Rocher and wife Ikue of Tokyo and grandmother of Jean-Luc. She was a friend to all who knew her and beloved by all who were close to her. She will be deeply missed.
