The girls’ team (1-0) defeated the Hornets 22-43. The lowest score in cross-country wins.

Lynnfield golf moves to 7-0 with wins over Hornets and Tigers

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield High golf team stayed undefeated on Sept. 21 as they beat visiting Manchester-Essex, 160-109, at Sagamore Spring on a warm, sunny day.

With that win, the Pioneers improved to 7-0 overall and in the Cape Ann League.
