NORTH READING LITTLE LEAGUE held the fourth annual NRLL/Tim Chaloux 12–Year–Old Appreciation Game at Benevento Fields, attracting 42 players and more than 150 family and friends for a “send-off" game that thanked the players for their years on the small diamond and also honored the memory of the late Tim Chaloux. Two games were held simultaneously on what was a beautiful day for baseball. Pictured are (left to right) Trevor Rabideau (Field 2 Spirit Award), Brady Cunningham (Field 1 Spirit Award), NRLL President Eddie Madden, Stan Chaloux (father of Tim Chaloux), Jimmy Mangraviti (Field 1 MVP), and Jackson Dorrington (Field 2 MVP). The games capped a big weekend at Benevento that included crowning league champions in the Farm (Blue Jays), Minors (Lugnuts), and Majors (Angels) divisions. (Julie O’Donnell Photo)
