WAKEFIELD — The Geoffrey Walter Memorial Junior Tennis Tournament will take place the weekend of Aug. 27-28 at the Dobbins Courts at Wakefield Memorial High School.

This is the 14th year of the event being held in Geoffrey’s name.

THE WAKEFIELD National 11-12 year old All-Stars went 4-1 in Pool A play and have gained a berth in the District 13 semifinals which are scheduled for tonight. THE WMHS boys’ lacrosse team had its best season in the program’s history posting a 17-3 overall record.
