A GROUP of Wakefield girls helped the New England Playmakers Fifth Grade Girls’ Basketball team win its third championship of the fall recently and is ranked as the number one team in New England. Since last spring this mix of Middleton, Boxford and Wakefield girls together has gone 36-0 against their age group while winning the Eastern Summer League and five tournaments.
