WAKEFIELD — Christopher D. Blais, 38, a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Monday, April 13, 2015.
Born in Boston on July 10, 1976 he was the beloved son of Edmond J. Jr. and Gail E. (Strong) Blais of Naples, Fla.
Chris was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1994. He enjoyed spending time with his family and also enjoyed baseball.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his daughter Ava Grace, his step-daughter Emma Trudelle of East Bridgewater, his fiancée Rebecca Hammond of Plympton, his grandmother Barbara Blais of Wakefield, his brother Michael Blais and his wife Janelle of Wakefield and godparents Elaine and Darrell Umlah of Freedom, N.H. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell Street, Wakefield at 11 a.m.
