WAKEFIELD — Clifton John Dennis, son of Joan Dennis and the late Richard Dennis, passed away Nov. 15 after a short illness so valiantly fought.
He was the devoted Dad to Dylan Dennis, devoted also to Dylan’s mom, the late Laura Platt. Brother to Christopher Dennis, his wife Sabrina, niece Isabella and nephew Chris from Lynn. He also leaves his best friend, Jacqueline Leary of Wakefield, and his beloved dog Harley.
Cliff worked 36 years for Local No. 7 Ironworkers. He was known to all his brothers as “The Dude” and loved them all. He will be very missed.
Cliff was an avid motorcyclist (Harley, of course) who loved long rides with the sun in his face and the wind in his hair, going to Sturgis, S.D., in the summer and loving every minute of it.
He loved his many close friends and had a laugh that made you smile, and of course he loved the lovely ladies. He loved his Maine house and hunting and fishing, four-wheeling and skimobiling.
There will be a celebration of Cliff’s wonderful life in May 2, 2021 at the Saugus Elks Club. All are welcome to come and celebrate with his family so they can show appreciation for all the love and support you have shown during his hospital stay.
Donations can be made in Cliff’s name to The Kaplan House, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
