WAKEFIELD — Deloris Day Pelletier, 92, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Advinia Care in Wilmington.
Doll was the beloved wife of the late Donald A. Pelletier and the loving mother of Susan P. Taylor and Sandra P. Gass both of Wakefield, and the late Sally J. Emerson. Mrs. Pelletier was the grandmother of Matthew Emerson, Tarley Taylor and the late Brendan Emerson.
Born in Winchester on April 20, 1927, she was the daughter of James E. and Charlotte A. (Dow) Day and was also predeceased by her sister, Patricia Day Winters.
Mrs. Pelletier was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1944.
Doll was an avid gardener and was a member of the Wakefield Historical Society, the Hartshorne House Association and the Wakefield Arts and Crafts Society.
Funeral services are private.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
