MELROSE — Doreen M. O’Regan-Barrasso, 52, of Melrose and formerly of Stoneham, died Wednesday, Feb.11.
She was born in Lowell on June 14, 1962 and was the beloved daughter of Dorothea (Rourke) O’Regan of Stoneham and the late James O’Regan. Doreen was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1980 and later attended Northeastern University.
She enjoyed cooking and was an active volunteer for various charitable groups in the Stoneham area.
Doreen was the loving mother of Daniel J. O’Regan of New York, N.Y., Santino Luigi Barrasso, Angelina Maria Barrasso and Cassandra Maria Barrasso, all of Revere. She was the devoted grandmother of Luigi Michael and is also survived by one niece and several great nieces and nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her brother James Shaun O’Regan.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
