LYNNFIELD — The community is invited to support the Lynnfield Pioneers field hockey team on Thursday, Oct. 15 as they “Play 4 the Cure” to benefit breast cancer research.
This game will be played under the lights at Pioneer Stadium. Game time versus the Triton Vikings is 7 p.m.
The team has been raising money throughout the month of October for breast cancer research. Their fund-raising efforts will continue during the game at their bake sale table featuring delicious pink treats. They’ll also have a pizza table, a raffle table and a kissing booth.
All proceeds from these sales will be donated to “Play 4 the Cure” to fund research on breast cancer, which is a disease that currently affects one out of every eight women.
