NORTH READING — The North Reading High School cheerleaders had an amazing season. The team hosted the Cape Ann League’s Qualifying Competition, participating and, despite injuries, placed second. Jessica Kelly was named Cape Ann All Star that evening.
The girls then placed second at the Regional Competition in Lowell and placed sixth at the State Competition at Tantasqua Regional High School in Fiskdale. They were less than a point away from qualifying for national competition.
