(Haverhill St., from Park Street to North Street)
Paving construction on Haverhill Street is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday October 21, 2015. The work has three phases:
- Remove top 1-2 inches of pavement by milling (starting o/a 10/21/15)
- Replace the top coat of pavement (starting the week of 10/26/15).
- Complete finish work (driveway aprons, berms, loam & seed, line painting, etc) (starting after pavement top coat is installed).
The Department of Public Works will complete the work by mid-November.
Local and through traffic will be impacted by this construction. Signage similar to the Central Street paving & police details will be used. We recommend that through traffic seek alternate routes during construction to avoid delays. The road will remain open for public safety response, school busses, local deliveries, etc.
